Helene Wander Privacy Statement
1. Data held
a) Contact details: Name, Address, Email address, Phone number
b) Emergency contact details: Next of kin, GP, date of birth
c) Session notes
2. Use of the data
a) Contact details: to communicate with you within the terms of your agreement only
b) Emergency contact details: to access emergency support for you if necessary
c) Session notes: In anonomised form to support and improve the therapeutic work in sessions and in supervision (my supervisor is also bound by same confidentiality agreement as you)
3. Data storage
a) Your personal data is stored digitally on my local desktop computer, my phone, on paper, and on my mindinsight email account.
b) The form of protection for each is by password or locked up and anonomised whenever possible
c) In case of an emergency on my side, one additional person will be able to gain access to your phone number and initials only so that this person can contact you.
4. Access to your data
a) You can request access to the data I hold on you via email or written request
b) I will make it available to you within 3 days
5. Disposal of your data
a) I will keep your personal data for 7 years, after which I will destroy or delete it.
b) You can request the deletion or destruction of your data at any time
My confidentiality policy is as agreed on our agreement that we signed at the start of your
therapy. As an accredited member of BACP and UKCP, I adhere to their professional
standards and Framework of Ethics
I will only use your data for the purpose for which it was collected and not for any other purpose. I will report any accidently breaches promptly.
